The Opportunity
We’re seeking a General Manager to lead our TLD division and drive strategic growth initiatives across IT and AV solutions. This senior leadership role oversees financial performance, sales strategy, operations, vendor relationships, and team development. You will shape long term strategy while ensuring exceptional customer experiences and sustainable business results.
What You’ll Do
Leadership & People Management
- Lead a diverse team with a focus on collaboration, coaching, and continuous development
- Support recruitment, performance management, and succession planning
- Foster a positive, inclusive culture aligned with TLD’s values
Financial & Business Management
- Own full P&L management, budgeting, forecasting, and financial reporting
- Drive margin improvement, cost efficiency, and long term growth
- Oversee commission structures, incentive programs, and financial governance
Vendor & Partner Management
- Build and strengthen relationships with key IT and AV vendors and distributors
- Negotiate pricing, agreements, MDF, and program participation
- Lead vendor business reviews and evaluate new partnership opportunities
Sales Strategy & Market Growth
- Guide sales strategy, solution focus, and market positioning
- Support complex deal analysis, RFP responses, pricing, and contract evaluation
- Oversee forecasting, pipeline insights, and performance reporting
Operations & Service Excellence
- Oversee operational structure, resource planning, and workflow optimization
- Drive adoption of modern systems, automation, and data driven processes
- Ensure strong service quality, project execution, and operational governance
Marketing & Brand Alignment
- Provide oversight on marketing strategy, brand consistency, and partner marketing
- Approve campaigns, digital content, and external communications
What You Bring
- A strong ability to translate business goals into clear strategies, priorities, and measurable outcomes
- Proven leadership experience with the ability to motivate, coach, and develop teams
- Strong communication, analytical, and strategic thinking abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast paced environment
- Post secondary education in Business, Marketing, Commerce, or related field
- Knowledge or experience in IT, Computer Science, or Audio Visual technology
