The Opportunity
We’re looking for a motivated Account Manager to join our growing Corporate Sales team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a consultative B2B sales environment, enjoys building long‑term client relationships, and is passionate about helping organizations make smart technology decisions.
You’ll manage a portfolio of small, medium, and large businesses, working closely with key decision‑makers to understand their goals and deliver tailored IT and AV solutions. What You’ll Do
Client Relationship Management
- Build and maintain strong relationships with executives, technology leaders, and operational stakeholders
- Serve as the primary point of contact for your client portfolio
- Understand client business objectives and recommend solutions that support their goals
- Engage effectively with diverse communities and client demographics
Sales Strategy & Business Development
- Develop territory plans including target accounts, competitive insights, and growth strategies
- Identify new opportunities within existing accounts and pursue net‑new business
- Present TLD’s integrated IT and AV solutions in a consultative, value‑driven manner
- Collaborate with manufacturers, distributors, and internal teams to bring proactive technology insights to clients
Collaboration & Internal Leadership
- Partner with our Assistant Account Manager (AAM) team to support quoting, order entry, and order management
- Work closely with engineering, project management, and service teams to ensure seamless delivery
- Leverage CRM and sales tools to manage pipeline, forecasting, and client activity
What You Bring
- Post‑secondary education preferred
- Sales and business training an asset
- Minimum 1 year of experience in IT or AV sales (both ideal)
- Strong selling, negotiation, and relationship‑building skills
- Experience using CRM and opportunity management tools
- Analytical thinking, sound judgment, and strong problem‑solving abilities
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
