TECH Advisor
The TECH Advisor position is considered to be a senior technical expert in the TECH areas of the store who will play a critical role in assisting customers as well as coaching and sales training of TECH Specialists in the TECH area in order to deliver a superior customer experience.
This position will provide technical sales advice and sales support in their area of expertise for audio video equipment, photo electronic equipment, computer equipment and peripheral devices along with all related TECH services that we offer to customers.
In addition, the TECH Advisor will also assist at the PhotoLab Counter assisting customers with the ordering of products on the kiosks and picking up of completed PhotoLab orders along the fulfillment Passport/ID photos for customers.
Additional responsibilities include:
- This position has signature status with the authority to conduct overrides.
- Provide assistance to management on special projects or any other tasks.
- Continue to develop technical knowledge.
- Promote London Drugs in the community as a place to shop and a place to work.
- Participate in merchandising & inventory control & assist with identifying under/over stock.
- Maintain scanning procedures, price changes, daily housekeeping and promotional displays, enforcing London Drugs standards.
- Receive orders and ensure sensomatics are on all applicable products.
- Complete inter-store transfers and defective returns.
- Maintain signing, shelf and price labels.
- Be aware of the Plan-o-grams and Merchandising Sharepoint and how to use these in the daily merchandising of the Department.
- Understand and maintain our core customer service principles outlined in the Brand Framework.
- Set daily goals with regard to sales, attachments and tasks. Follow-up regularly with TECH Management and other team members to share successes and challenges.
