Our Calgary Training Sites currently have an opportunity for:

Central Trainer

Responsibilities for this role include:

  • performing established Orientation Program for QPOS and/or 4694 Terminal Training for new hire employees.
  • performing Management Terminal Training, POS training, and any other applications training as required
  • providing input into the upgrading of training program contents as necessary
  • providing input into the creation and maintenance of store procedure manuals
  • attending Central Trainers Meetings
  • attending additional training as necessary
The successful candidate should possess the following:

  • ability to speak in front of large groups
  • ability to relate to all levels of personnel within the Company (stores and Head Office)
  • excellent communication skills, both verbal and written
  • excellent interpersonal skills
  • professional deportment and attitude
  • self-confidence and enthusiasm
  • patience
  • good leadership and presentation skills
  • excellent organizational skills
PREREQUISITES:

  • thorough knowledge of store operational procedures
  • thorough knowledge of PC Applications (Windows, Word, Exchange, Excel)
  • thorough knowledge of the P.O.S. system procedures
  • minimum 12 months tenure with the Company
  • minimum Service Specialist level preferred
  • available to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends
  • available to travel to the training sites as required
Hours will vary depending on operational needs.   Based on business and training needs, this role will take place at our various Calgary Training sites eg. #30, #40, in conjunction with your current store role.
