Department Manager, Insurance Services
 
Considered the essential link in our business, this role will serve as the connection between management and employees and between products and customers. This position is responsible for the overall direction, leadership, supervision and performance of the department and Insurance Specialists, and is accountable for implementing the company’s strategic vision.
 
The successful candidate will have the following:
  • CIP/CAIB or minimum Level 2 general  insurance license (eligible for a Level 3 license preferred).
  • Solid interpersonal skills when dealing with customers, vendors, staff and management.
  • Strong selling skills.
  • Possess a strong insurance technical skill base.
  • In depth knowledge of insurance products, services and regulations.
  • Be highly organized and able to multitask effectively and work under changing priorities.
  • Good communication skills, both written and verbal, within a team environment.
  • Strong analytical and strategic thinking skills.
  • Ability to work independently, quickly and accurately under pressure.
  • Ability to exercise professional judgment, delegate and follow-up.
  • Be entrepreneurial, and look for ways to build the business.
